The BIG Elephant in the Room....This is why...

It's no secret over the last almost three years I have ventured down a path of seeking out natural solutions. What people don't know is that I started this journey way before the last three years. I think that the pandemic really shifted my thinking when it comes to asking more questions about things, and using google as a tool to look up ingredients I didn't understand or couldn't pronounce, as well as look up products. I'm not sure about you but have you ever noticed that healthy anything is more expensive? I remember a classmate of mine back in the day writing an article entitled "it's cheaper to be fat" and it couldn't be more right. I feel like we are conditioned to think a certain way, it's like an underlying unspoken thing and maybe for most we don't even realize it until someone close to us gets some life ending diagnosis.

NOW, I'm NOT saying don't go to the doctor or seek out medical attention BY ALL MEANS please do that, really know what your working with or what it is that's happening in your body. BUT what I realized is that I can take the advice from the professionals and incorporate my natural solutions where needed. For example, I had an infection after my c-section, they couldn't narrow down where it was so they gave me an antibiotic they were sure was going to kill whatever it was in my body effecting me. NOW, this slowed down my breast milk, hurt my stomach, and effected my number 2's. BUT, I was able to use some natural solutions to combat what what was happening and help my body recover. Another example, for a long time it was hard for anyone to find children's Tylenol on the shelves. But I was able to talk to my family doctor and learn a lot more about fevers and their purpose, and was able to feel more at ease and know that I had some natural solutions to support my son even if I didn't have the traditional over the counters as there

was a shortage.

I've had a lot of people ask me why I chose a brand like doTERRA, which is an MLM.... and why I chose to do it as a business eventually. I chose doTERRA as my essential oil brand because they are the leaders in the essential oil industry, and initially I liked the transparency of their products. Whatever I used, it seemed to work and the product lasted me a long time which made it worth my money.

WHY I chose to do it as a business is because three years ago, I needed something to keep my mind occupied and distracted from the fact I was extremely unhappy with my surroundings. There was a lot going on behind the scenes that anyone in my shoes would have just said screw it. But because I had love for my husband and believed in our bond, and knew he wouldn't quit on me, this pushed me to keep moving forward. Then after I had my son, post partum was thrown at me, so having something that was a distraction supported me mentally and emotionally. I was also able to exercise my creative outlet by creating gemstone bracelets and diffuser bracelets, which also went hand and hand with this natural solutions path. With both ventures I was able to fill my cup with helping others and supporting them. I've had MANY people say to me "you know your part of a scam right... that's what MLM's are" and believe me I've done my research and I know that's what some MLM's are. However, with doTERRA I am not forced to hold stock or "buy into" a company to get a start. I like many other people already had a doTERRA account to get 25% off my products and when I was ready to do it as a business it was a quick switch and I continued, only this time I was making money to pay for my products. But as my team grew and as I touched more people's lives (which is always my first priority), I was able to make an extra income which had provided me a beautiful nest egg to sit on for a rainy day. It can be to travel, build a bigger more custom home, OR wherever my heart takes me at this point.

I know when I offer one of my natural solutions people are reluctant to accept it, more reluctant then if I offered them an Advil or something over the counter. I think the ONLY reason why that is, is because doTERRA is a form of an MLM, and they don't want to get scammed or reeled into something they will not want in the long run (almost like a time share). BUT, what I want those to know is that when I offer you something that is doTERRA, I'm doing it to support you, its what I USE currently and those are forms of my Advil or Pepto etc. I'm not reeling you into something to scam you, remember I have a full time job/career on top of doTERRA. I continue with doTERRA because like my fulltime job it allows me to support so many people around the world and make an impact in my work, because my end goal is I want to be someone who makes an impact in whatever it is that I do. I want it to be pure, genuine, authentic and not lead by money (in both jobs).

IF someone likes what I'm offering just like anyone I will tell them how much and how to get it at the best deal. Just like I would my favorite restaurant (go on Thursday's its half price apps), or a store (hey they are having 50% off this week), or my favorites ice cream spots etc. I share because I love something not because I want your money. I share because I KNOW it works, not because I want to scam anyone.

I am also aware natural solutions aren't for everyone, and they don't have the time for it as anything natural takes routine and consistency. Not to mention, no one takes into consideration that everyone's body is different and like anything you have to see what meshes beautifully with your body to have it work. If your patient with that process i know I can find something that works, but some just want the quick fix AND I respect that with every inch of my being.

I guess I just wanted people to know if I'm sharing something I love with you, it's not because I see

you as a dollar sign, it's because I see you as someone I want to support and help anyway I can. And if the pandemic has taught us anything it's sometimes going rogue into a natural path isn't so bad, because truly do we know what the government is putting in things around us? Does anyone question why they can find a vaccine for things like covid, and other things but millions and trillions have been donated to cancer research and still no cure? Sometimes I wonder do they really want to help or keep us sick? Do they want us out of debt or do they want us dependent on them? I don't live in that world of conspiracy, I live in a world that due to an experience that was shared world wide, I now ask more questions, do more research, and do the best I can with what I can control.

THAT's MY MESSAGE! That's why I continue to hold doTERRA as a second job, that's why I love venturing down this path of natural solutions, and this is why I love supporting those around me.

Essential oils are not just used for if your sick. They are so extremely versatile and the more I learn about the history of plants the more I want to garden, the more I want to learn, the more I want to take back what I can control. Please don't wait until you have no other options.... BELIEVE ME you got options!
